Monval Supermatic

The Monval was an awesome watch: big chunky 70’s design, still great lume after all those years. With a very nice cushion case , helped by one of the best (and possibly cheapest in it’s day) straps, a Tropic, very comfortable to wear for such a big beast!

The movement ‘Supermatic’ (never had it opened, so don’t know the caliber type) kept time realy well and had a very audible rotor when moving the wrist, very cool.

Screw down crown and on the caseback waterproof to 75atmos, but tested to 100!

Also a nice domed plexy chrystal with in the middle the ‘M’ logo engraved, much like the Omega’s of the same era. May have been an expensive watch in it’s day too?
